This week we will gather with family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving and give thanks for all of the good things in our lives. Last year, I listed the many things I was grateful for as your local pool contractor, including so many happy clients. This year, as a California resident, I am especially grateful for all of the first responders and firefighters who have, and still are, risking their lives to help my neighbors. These devastating tragedies have affected so many people in our great state. We send our support and wish them well in rebuilding.

We are very grateful for the many opportunities we had this year to realize backyard dreams. From vanishing edge pools to freeform ones, we designed and constructed pools throughout the greater San Diego area. Any pool contractor will tell you that a client who loves their new swimming pool is the best reward of all. Knowing you’ve transformed someone’s yard into a personal oasis they’ll enjoy for decades to come is incredibly fulfilling. We are not talking about algae here. With all the science pointing towards climate change as the catalyst behind so many extreme natural events, we are grateful for equipment and chemical companies that continue to invest in creating energy-efficient and earth-friendly products. We’ve seen the devastation in our own state. We can all do are part to stem the climate change tide. For us, that means reducing water use, installing energy efficient equipment and creating climate-friendly landscapes.

Generosity

So many people volunteer their time and give their money to help others in need. I want to thank them for spreading good old fashion kindness when small and large tragedies arise. We are all in this life together.
